Community Gathers for Tasting Menu Launch at Dungate Manor
Residents, relatives and members of the local community came together at Dungate Manor for an evening that mixed great food with good company. The event marked the launch of the home’s new tasting menu, created by the catering team to give guests a flavour of the dishes now being served.
Tables were laid out in the lounge and dining area, and guests were welcomed with a drink before sitting down to the first course. The chefs spoke briefly about each dish and how the new menu had been inspired by residents’ favourite flavours, and the room was filled with chatter as everyone compared dishes.
Once dinner was finished, everyone stepped outside to watch a short fireworks display over the gardens. Sparklers were handed out, giving everyone plenty of laughter, and residents said that they brought back a few lovely childhood memories.
